Future Proof was the perfect thing for me. I was looking to complement my consulting work with an opportunity to find some independent non-executive board roles that would give me the opportunity for more potential impact on people and society.
The online 10-week structure of the course provided the perfect way to do some deep reflections about me, my personal brand, my areas of expertise and where I wanted to focus, and to shape the fact that I was indeed board ready and could move ahead with confidence.
You also have the benefit of doing this together with other members of your cohort. You have fantastic encouragement and support from them. And Diana is always there, very active, full of energy, warmth, gentle questioning, and always ready to offer advice.
I'm done with the course for now. But I'm certainly not done with the people that I've met through it. They’re now an important part of my extended network. And I'm benefiting from also meeting the members of the new cohorts.
Wherever you are in your career, if you're thinking about how to build on your past success and move towards something more significant, then do think about Future Proof. It gives you the opportunity to define your “what next” and to give you the confidence to move forward. And those board roles? I have two already in very different sectors, but they both reflect my personal values, my experience, my strength and provide opportunities for me to add value in a way that I will find enriching.
